About

This is Project Renegade - my passion project. Here I combine some of my interests - programming, fantasy, sci-fi, role-playing and AI.
Following my degree on Computer Science, I have been working as a software developer for a few years, and I have acquired some skills that allowed me to convert my ideas into something tangible. What started out as a sandbox tool to explore Chat-GPT's capabilities, quickly evolved into a fully fledged project of its own, that I work on during my free time and bore my friends and family with.
I also use it as a playground to improve my technical skills, implement good coding practices, try out new frameworks and architectures, etc... To this day I am still amazed by the generative capabilities of some AIs and the fact that I have used one here makes me even more impressed. With some patience and fine-tuning, current AIs are able to provide very rich, immersive and coherent content. This project would be something very different without them.
Fun fact: the idea for this project came from a dream I had.
